The 1980s: A Collage Barrage
This video and music mashup was premiered at New York University at an academic conference on popular music and culture of the 1980s. In this piece I celebrate my memories of the 80s with Ronald Reagan as the main character. Also featured are music videos, video arcade games, the Commodore 64, the Space Shuttle, Mount St. Helens, Magic Johnson, the Los Angeles Olympics, Time Magazine, Bon Jovi, Run DMC, Michael Jackson, Saturn, news reports, commercials, and more.
